Now when I see something that has bold claims that it promises you skin 10 years younger, banishes wrinkles and basically is a miracle, blah blah blah, I am VERY skeptical, because let’s face it (no pun intended) it’s pretty impossible to rewind the clock back, unless you go under the knife.
However, I was online having a look at offers, like you do, and came across this product, ‘Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads’ (They contain 2.8% acid) I have heard a few people mention them and a friend of mine has used them. I know Glycolic Acid reacts with the upper epidermis to help get rid of dead skin cells and can ‘help’ reduce wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and other mild skin conditions. It’s also said to improve the skin texture and appearance. Sounds good? I thought so. No massive claims, so I gave them a try. I’ve been using the pads in the morning after I’ve washed my face, then apply the ‘No Needle Serum’ before applying my usual daily moisturiser.
Well after about 6 weeks of daily use of these pads, I was impressed! Not only does my skin feel ridiculously soft after using them, I feel that my wrinkles around my eyes really have become less obvious; they haven’t ‘gone’, but are much finer. My skin has a healthy glow and I don’t need to exfoliate my face with my usual scrub every day like I used to. These exfoliate ‘without’ the grit. My skin doesn’t feel tight or sore after using them, instead, I feel like my face is clean and fresh. I have stocked up on these pads and will continue to use them. You get 60 pads in a tub, so 2 months supply.
I also saw this ‘No Needle Fix Serum’ (50ml) and was instantly intrigued by the name so I popped it in my basket. I thought it would work well after using the pads. If I’m honest, it’s nice, it feels silky on the skin and it moisturises, but that’s it, I don’t think it’s really worth the price tag compared to other serums. It contains no Glycolic Acid so feel it’s just a serum with a fancy name.
I have since picked up the ‘Glycolic Fix Radiance Shot’ (30ml) which DOES contain Acid and will update you on my thoughts on this after I’ve tried it for a period of time. All in all, I’d 100% recommend the pads but if you are going to get a product to go with them, get the serum with the glycolic acid in it or the shot that also includes the acid. I won’t be repurchasing the “No Needle Fix Serum’.
Let me know what you think if you’ve tried any of the Nip + Fab ‘Glycolic’ range.
